hi these are two of my reasent poems please can i have coments good and bad thanks all happy reading xx

The circle of life

On each miraculous day the sun will rise,
whether it is glorious or full of rain,
out of bed our kids we prise,
give them cereal without sugar from the cane.
Ask what to do on this lovely day,
the answer as always have fun dad,
our kids put it so simply don’t they,
that we have them I am glad.
Over dinner we talk about the fun,
bath and teeth then to bed with Ted,
down stairs we snuggle next to our hun,
or sit and massage her head.
Talk the evening away and watch the setting sun,
then retire and get our sleep,
one thing we have learnt from life is enjoy it have fun,
because the circle of life is not cheep

The meaning of true bliss.

This evening’s sun setting slowly across the beach,
Our kids running around in the pink waters edge.
You my partner my friend my lover hands over a peach,
For you my undying love I do pledge.
Memories of the woodland walks that we have done,
Picnics on the moors, days out with the dogs.
Countless hours of endless fun,
The bonfires roasting marshmallows sat on a log.
To you I owe so much you really are the best,
Before we got together is one big fog.
Snuggled on the sofa at night both glad of the rest,
For you I want the world.
For me a big hug and a sweet kiss,
Our son and daughter I have twirled.
For you have shown me the meaning of true bliss,
Within your arms I know lay curled.

It ain't Shakespeare, but I have read worse. If you get pleasure from writing  then keep at it.

Sorry, pal.

Never mind Shakespeare; not even John Hegley or Lemn Sissay.

You'll have to work hard at it.

Home, home on the forum
Where the posters have little decorum
Where there's frequently heard
A discouraging word
And the sky's always cloudy and grey.

OK, now there is one thing, they will never see me coming!

I could see where you were at when you recalled those feelings.

I felt something like it some years ago but didn't think to put it in words,

Let me tell you what you your verses reminded me of:

The feeling of youth, the feeling that I had discovered something no one else could have possbly known   I felt as a child when bedtime and getring up were a fact of life!

You had the courage to state as much and knew your strength against rebuke or sarcasm!

I could go on my friend but let it suffice to know no man and even less his opinion, should ever censor your expression,

As many as rebuke you, there are a thousand unspoken admirers of your fine words! Now the words and claims are seen as always
the way they'll always be, way they'll always be.
Truth is halfway true, the man is only a man
who fails to know,
the people shouting for him have turned now
telling him to go.

Powers that have place, esteemed positions
telling him to cry, telling him to cry,
Soon another song is sung,
in turn for existing blame and then
Apologise, conditions turn,
then it happens all again.

After all the things are said, no God's a man,
no God's a man,
and yet after all the things are said,
no God's a man, must happen all again.

After all the things are said, no God's a man,
no God's a man,
and yet after all the things are said,
no God's a man, and then again.

Good Karma always,

Martin
