Im a single dad of 3 again now... I have took on someone who was a single mum when i met her... we later got married and had 2 sons of our own.

We are now getting divorced and i would love to do the same again if the right person comes along

I've nothing against single mothers, but do you have no other concern about the character and personality of a woman than that she should be a single mother? Sounds a bit odd to me, if you don't mind me saying so.

I took on someone who was a single mum is enough to put me off rite away.You wouldnt catch me saying i took on a single dad its just so wrong on so many levels

Seems eminently sensible to me. Its the person not the situation that should be considered.

As my profile says i am a single mother, so if i were to meet anyone then ultimately they would have to take on both of us, as we come as a package deal. Having said that, there is more to me than just being a single mum and whoever i meet would have to know me before i even introduce them to my daughter.
