I know what you mean! I've been on a couple of months now & men have emailed me but after I reply I never hear from them again, so why do they bother contacting you in the first place?? I thought it would help me make friends but all its seems to be doing at the moment is knocking my confidense. You aren't a minger & perhaps we should both stop letting it get us down!!!

DG....... I was also finding that I was being emailed and after I emailed back I wasn’t getting any responses.  I now take the short and sweet approach, if a guy asks me a question I answer it and I might ask the same question back and another short non taxing question and I find that draws them in.  Rather than a long email explaining about my day and what I have been doing.

Now I find that if I get long emails from blokes it can be a bit over the top.  I find short emails tend to expand the more contact there is if there is ‘connection’ between the two.    Of course often you don’t get any help in one liner emails that guys send and that’s usually a sign that they are not great conversationalists full stop (ie on the phone) and Im sure it’s the same the other way around aswell.

HARRY you are a good looking bloke, but I think that you could post better photos of yourself on your profile...possibly not one that looks like your a drinker, with a glass of beer in your hand.  Maybe if you could get a friend to take a few pictures, he/she doesnt have to know what its for.  (i hope I havent offended)

I have had the same experience's ,Recieving messages and answerring them and having no reply.And this is the only site I have ever been on,Personally I thought it would be a nice way of getting to know someone before or if ever ' meeting them . Which is rather difficult , If you dont get a reply , Anyway there are alot of lovely women on here ' good luck m8 .

I agree I might need a better pic but they must be interested with what they've seen & read to contact you in the first place! I think I'd prefer them not to bother unless they really do want to talk to you & find out more!

However, you are in competition and if I had come across your profile I would have wondered what the catch was.

Hmm I dunno maybe your profile? I get quite a fe responses but of cause most of them are "bait" ads probably made by the site owners to get you to pay subscription other than that I think you will find the right girl buddy.

If it's one thing that i've learned it's never take offence at a forum posting directed at me. It's too easy to get the wrong message when you can't see or hear the person making the comments.

Also any advice is gratefully received ( even if my reply suggests otherwise )

Harry sweetie, there's nothing wrong with you.  The photo's are dodgy and you haven't filled out your profile properly - women like to know something about you and you haven't given them much which can be taken as you're not that fussed.  But I like what you wrote on your intro thingy.
