A few months ago during a Forum session, I came to what I now realise was a monumental decision. Rather than staring like a zombie at the blank screen (and losing the will to live in the process), I decided to make better use of the waiting time when the legendary DTUK servers struggle to change from one screen to another.

On a whim, I chose to study Quantum Physics - a subject about which I knew nothing - but I was determined that my studies should only be conducted during the screen change ‘interludes’, as I had other commitments to my legal career, which took up a fair amount of my free time.

Well I have to say that I found this subject most interesting. I was particularly intrigued by the contention of The Quantum and Planck's Constant and The Uncertainty Principle and, of course, the fascinating and thought-provoking equation of E=hy. Who could have ever believed that this would lead to an understanding of a quantum of length and a quantum of time and the realisation that energy wasn’t continuous as first thought? Thrilling! However, after looking through some of the complex equations, I’m not entirely convinced of Planck’s assertion that there are elements of space and time that cannot be broken up into smaller pieces.

I have prepared a lecture on this matter and will be presenting it to the world’s most eminent Quantum Scientists in Zurich, in December. By this time – based upon the response time of the DTUK technical Dept to overcome problems - I should have enough detailed calculus to confirm my theories beyond all doubt. I’m happily anticipating the thunderous applause at the end of my lecture.

Thank you, DTUK. I owe it all to you.

Now if I can do this, so can everyone. A golden opportunity for self-education is here.

Funnily enough there was an article about this in Vogue or Vanity Fair last month.
It raised the issue of the Ork cloud being 50,000AU and the ramifications of the dark matter for the fashion industry.
I was so taken aback I spilled my cappucino over my Paul Smith trousers.
If the nun on the table opposite hadn't intervened, I fear that a development would have occured in the Palestinian conflict.

Maybe the editors of Vogue or Vanity Fair are also DTUK members?

Look, there's far more to this DTUK than meets the eye.
O.K. to the non-observant it seems a prima facie chocolate-box dating hows-your-father site.
But beneath it ?
Hell, I don't know !!!!
Is it C.I.A. or Kremlin based ?

Well it's definitely subversive. Maybe it's a fiendish experiment in mind control. After all, those blank screens are quite mesmerising!

On a sub-atomic level, there is a difference between the way things act when you are looking at them and the way things act when you are not looking at them.

It's hardly rocket-science!

Dave, just because you've been on a mother ship, there's no need to keep dropping hints about it!

I know a crude joke about rockets, though I'm not sure Big Mod would approve.
