Don't you like kissing a man with a moustache then Merlo---?I thought you would. Never mind IF you grow up you may be able to grow one I haven't got a recent pic where the moustache has gone, and I'm certainly not going to take one just to please a juvenile thinking idiot who has to be sarcastic as it's seems the only way you can communicate. Unfortunately on this medium you get away with far too much, and I don't mean just at me. But one of the "Old Maids" as well

Dating over 50 - I only recently joined this site and have had several winks/messages/others wanting to chat, etc, BUT why is it that so many young men, 20's up, think that a 73 year old lady would be interested in them - heavens above - I have a daughter nearly 53 and 4 grandsons 16-26. I guess they are looking for a 'sugar mammy' LOL. Anyway, I must admit that a few rather nice 50+ members have contacted me but without exception, they all seem to live up north. I live in the southwest and don't relish trying to have a relationship with someone 100's of miles away. Anyone out there who lives within 50 miles of Taunton or would like to re-locate - let me know

Well everyone has their standards but limiting it by geography just seems a bit much to me. If your list of prerequisites is longer than the Bible you may well fall into the category of looking for a fantasy. Everyone has their non-negotiable requirements but where they live is of less concern to me than some other requirements. As Annie pointed out, her sister moved to the USA to be with her soulmate, we are not trees that must stay where we are, we can choose to move.
Maybe you wouldn't move but perhaps the one you meet might be happy to. If it came down to staying where I am and being alone the rest of my life or moving for the right person, I would move. But you would have to be prepared to spend the time online getting to know a person first, before you get to meet, is that really such a big ask?
If you are one of those people who can't stand to chat online and via email for a while, and there seems to be a few like that, fair enough.
Personally I find it strange that people need to meet up now now dammit NOW.... I don't really turn into a pumpkin at midnight.

It's not a case of meeting people but meeting the right people I find difficult - even on sites such as this.

Hi I'm new to all this, but I agree its difficult for women to make friends, so if anyone in the Cambridge area fancies a nigth out let me know, we could arrange a meeting.
