Hi all

Is there a point to going into a lot of detail in the profile of the type of person you're looking for??

After a few days on site I added the comment - "UNDER 55'S NEED NOT APPLY" - Is it so difficult to understand?

I'm finding very few men in my age range making any approach at all (understandable - perhaps  they would like a younger model) but I'm inundated with winks, and messages from very young men.

The youngest was an 18 year old and the majority are in the 25-45 age bracket. even when you take out the obvious **** there are still UK men who must think I'm desperate - or desperately frustrated!

Initially I answered all mails as I like to be polite!!! - now I'm just going to give up and ignore.

Any others of my age group facing the same problem??

I don't think there's much point in writing a profile at all. With only one exception, all those who've sent me unsolicited emails have not viewed mine. As a result, those emails go straight into the bin which is a fair response as my profile says I won't respond to them.

Part of the problem is the demographic of the members, the majority of whom are, as far as I can tell, between 30 and 45 years old, though I seem to get unsolicited emails from women in their 20s. I've given up wondering what they're after.

Even so, you'd think they might have learned to read by then.

What completely confuses me are the number of males of all ages who describe themselves as straight who view my profile. If their looking for women they surely shouldn't come across my profile. I understand ,of course, that men who read and contribute to the forum might be curious as to what kind of idiot is writing such a load of twaddle, but most of those who view me are names I have never seen on the forum. I'm not unduly concerned, just, I hate not understanding.

Much younger men are initially intriguing, and then it starts to get on your ****, particularly as I prefer something a little further from the CP register.

I like to think I've been really clear about what I'm looking for, but it does seem most are unable to read, or can't be bothered to.

Let's face it, most older women just like to play hard to get with the school boys ..... it adds to the intrigue and keeps them keen!

Dear Modom,
I was greatly perturbed (and outraged) to hear of your loose, wanton, and nefarious conduct.
Indeed I have reported it to the Serious Fraud Office (East Cheemley Division).
The graphic and in-depth description of your depravity made me bite the bowl off my spoon whilst eating my Harvest Crunch this morning.
(I have only just returned from the local A & E dept.).
May I suggest that you seek immediate reparation, redemption, salvation, and take Holy Orders with nearest convenient nunnery ?

I do hope that with the passing the time…the characteristics of your obsessive affiliation with this hobby will abate. Indeed, women nowadays, as a whole, are well known for partaking  in slightly odd, all-consuming pastimes that at best can be described as ‘quirky’.

Some may call your ways libertarian and generous to the male species.
I think you're just one last remaining English Eccentrics of later half of the nineteenth Century.
Indeed  England has always boasted of a veritable feast of bonkers, bonking fun, and wanton games
of chance.

In mitigation, your altruistic concern with the Youth of today is quite heart-warming, but may I suggest that you introduce some Discipline into the proceedings ?

I quite sympathize with your dilemma, for I am sexually active in the kitchen, where the temperature rises with saucy and spicy salad dressings. Some say that having an over stacked supply of  condiments shows loose moral character and requires no emotionally attachment. That it is just an easy lay....such is a love of cooking and eating.

Why don't you take up a hobby to take your mind off 'it' ?
Call me ol' fashioned, but I too am a pleasure enthusiast, and enjoy a hedonistic and immense fascination with trivial factoids. Indeed  there is a relationship between this obsession and the development of rail travel and the national rail network.
Perhaps your nubility is suited to acrostics ?

As for outdoor pursuits, I am particularly enamoured with cheese rolling (non promiscuous Stilton only), elver-eating (often with obsessive vigour), haystack & snail racing (combined),  turnip-throwing (which I think you have the build for), shin kicking (somebody else's), and even – a clear sign of our times – mobile phone throwing.
If you need further help, please let me know.

i have spoken with ex friends of my son,,they tell me they chat up the older women,,cos,,in their words ,,not mine,,,they are easy meat,,and will pay for them to go out to eat,,and want **** cos they think its flattering with young men,,so quote find em ,,f@@@ em and forget em,,To me i find this degrading to the females,,,,i said this,,but they could not care cos it was all in fun ,,,yuk.
As for me on here i find it hard for ladies 50 and over to even respond to my winks ,messages etc ,,so are they out chasing young men ????????,do they really find it flattering to be chatted up by young gigilos,,in the hope of something ,,,,**** boy ,,coming out of it,,
again i have just been on holiday ,and by chance got talking to some single ladies over 50,,,and they admitted they will respond on here more to the younger man,,because it excites them.
Let all us older members do a survey of young and older singles,,like i have done,,and see if you come up with same answers as i have.
So come on you over 50 ladies ,,start talking to your own age ,,instead of risking hurt and humiliation ???

I have also had many approaches from younger women who have not even looked at my profile. Too good to be true and very fishy.

As a new member I have been suprized at the number of winks and emails I have received from the age range of 20s and early 30s . It's a shame they can't spell very well, whilst very flattering and they are probably doing it for fun, but talking to another member in her 50s, one who took the bother to reply, she said that is all she is bombarded with, men in 20 & 30s. It would appear all the 50yrd men are chasing the 40yr females. So where do you start.

Many messages are copies which I think have been sent out to many other men but there are genuine women on this site that have the courtesy to reply to messages, but not many

yeah ,understand the bit about very young women ( supposedly) sending winks , messages and viewing profiles of older men  , either they are **** or wierdos , currenyly theres a 22 year old (07:51 Nov 5th) trying to get me to text her .  Why  ????  I know/understand women younger women these days are more "open" but it seems to me that a lot of these sites have a lot of **** trying to entice guys to spend money rather than being genuine women!!
