OOh! A response! Thank you Vixen for the advice. Shall I give it another 6 months? Only kidding.
I don't have a paintball gun. Do you by any chance own a hovercraft?
# 4 2009-09-12 11:09:07
have you been on the chat rooms? i know they are not for everyone and i must admit i have not got a date from there but there a a big meet up is being arranged soon
# 5 2009-09-12 13:12:59
I agree with Vixen,
you have to be in it to win it lol!!!
Haven't checked your profile but have you got a completed one with loads of information in the about you section?
The more info about you that there is the more chance that you've got of people getting in touch.
Good Luck!

Yep, I have filled out my profile but I confess that it's nonsense for the best part.
How silly do you think it is?
# 7 2009-09-12 13:37:13
Hi, I'm no expert but if I was reading your profile with a view to seeing if we had anything in common I probably wouldn't even finish reading it.
Sorry if this offends --- I don't mean to but you did ask what I thought. You come across as flippant, almost as if you're seeing it all as a joke and aren't serious about wanting to meet someone.
The comment about the ant - yuk not funny at all and the rest of it seems to be full of old jokes or quotes from other people.
The people on this site read the profile to find out as much as possible about that person and I can't say that I know anything that I can trust as the truth about you at all.
As a suggestion I would say read some of the other profiles on the site you can browse the male ones on here as well and get a feel for the sort of info that others are sharing.
Good luck.

I think you're right actually. When I wrote that, I couldn't think of anything that was any different to 1,000 other profiles.
"Likes nights in/out, good sense of humour, etc.."
Perhaps I sould give it more thought and when I am feeling a little more creative.

Go for it!!!!!

Just thought i'd say, I have read your profile and I'm loving the wit.

bodaciousangel I hope you're having a laugh.
I'm trying to help here.
# 12 2009-09-13 13:00:01
Thank you for that sentiment B Angel... howsoever...
OK, Lovely I've made a start but it's quite rudimentary.
Which do you think is relevant and which not?
# 13 2009-09-13 13:04:00
"howsoever"??? Where the heck did that come from?
Did I mean "nevertheless"?
I'm not anti-semantic. Some of my best friends are syllables..

Hi,
I know you don't want to hear this but all of it lol!
Different people will be looking for different info and so you need to fill it all out incase you miss the chance of someone getting intouch cos they think you have something in common.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
# 15 2009-09-13 23:48:40
The weekend was absolutely awsome, thanks. Time for bed now. Tomorrow is work work work and I love it!

You come across as flippant, almost as if you're seeing it all as a joke and aren't serious about wanting to meet someone. etc etc etc etc.
Just dont get your sence of humour do they ???? Perhaps you should give up Buddism, very un British, take life very seriously, be more coventional, stop cracking jokes and copy someones profile that shows no humour then the women would be filling your inbox daily

Hi Daevid,
glad you had a fab weekend me too lol!
Have a rest from the profile, it's sometimes good to step away from something and look at it with a fresh eye in a day or 2.
Let me know if you want me to have a look at the final version,
good luck.
P.s Horsewhisperer,
I don't know if you read from the start of the thread but I'm not having a go at Daevid he did ask me to help.

Horsewisperer if you read the above quote you'll see that actually it says very little about the real Daevid (with his cracking sense of humour) at all.

Hi Gary, I think the problem is that I come from a small village. We had to kill a bloke to start a cemetry!
Buddhist at a burgher van. Asks the attendant "Make me one with everything".
Burgher man makes him a huge burgher with the works and the Buddhist hands him a £20 note.
After a bit, the Buddhist asks "What about change?"
to which the burgher man replies "Change comes from within".
Sorry if you've heard it...
Thanks for your post mate.
