No, you are not ugly but please note...'winks are for w******s if you are interested in someone message them. I for one do not have any idea how to respond to winks? What do they mean? I think you look good but not enough for me to contact you so you do the work? I think you look good but not enough for me to pay to contact you? Thank you for your honest opinion and yes i am probably a wkr lol as you kindly put it and i know it is a very shallow way of contacting women and i do oplogise for the short cummings but as i said i am just exploring the possibilities of paying as a member, whats your opinion of the site compared to others do you feel its good value.

Hmmmm have met some great people on here and had a great laugh on the forums and blogs which is primarily what I am here for.

I didn't even think winking meant ANYTHING, as anyone can do it, hey, just email, although DO NOT tell the person you have a message from God, re your compatability, the woman is your soulmate, you are dying from love, the person must contact you on your personal email NOW....You have a vision, my loveliness, my soulmate, etc. Ha, be a human being.

I am afraid that even if you are a paying member, if the person you message is not they will be unable to read your message or reply to it.

So don't be too disappointed by lack of replies.

Paying members can purchase the 'Contact me for free' add-on to be sure that non-paying members can reply.

I am a fully paid member, and Yes, l have sent emails and never heard back, l to suspect this to be true too, or have frighen them away, lol

That paying members can purchase a 'contact me for free' is good news. 

No doubt it is hard to keep a positive outlook when you don't get replies. Of course the nature of dating or match making sites mean that we don't get to hear too many good news stories since those folk will no longer need these sites and leave.

Replies or not, the forums are good I find, and if we can keep them growing they will only get better.  Need more of the 3 million members to come along and have a chat.  A much better way to get an idea about people than those on the spot blurbs we write.

I'll take all your comments about winking and something that sounds a bit like it on board and stop doing at least one of those things in future.

In fact I will now make it a project to email all the women I have previously winked. Advice like this is gold dust!

I'm sorry if this sounds unsympathetic, Rocks, but I really do think that people here should be here for dating reasons, there are plenty of social networking sites if that's what you really want. That said, the forums here are particularly good.....

That's definitely the way forward Rocksy. Otherwise it just becomes a meat market and increases the pressure to get every word right. Any further news on the Chatroom front?
